President
Hussein Shivji
Hussein Shivji is the president and founder of Shivji Financial Services. Hussein began his career in the financial services sector in 1980 and has since become a prominent name in the field, achieving significant successes both independently and within leading industry companies.
Well respected by his peers, Hussein received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1997 as a specialist in life insurance, living benefits and estate planning. With over 45 years of financial planning experience under his belt, Hussein has acquired an acute understanding of the needs of individuals from a multitude of backgrounds and professions. Working primarily with high net worth individuals, business owners and their families, Hussein helps clients secure financial stability across generations by creating and preserving estates, ensuring lasting legacies.
Not only has he served on numerous boards, including the Agent’s Advisory Council of Sun Life Financial, but Hussein has also achieved several years as a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifier, including Court of the Tables Honors – a distinction that denotes exceptional professional knowledge, client service and ethical conduct. In 2005, Hussein was inducted into the prestigious Sun Life Financial Hall of Fame, recognized as one of the outstanding individuals from Sun Life Financial’s 3,700-member team. This is a lifetime achievement award, representing the highest standard of excellence bestowed on individuals who have made a commitment to excellence in service to clients, combined with active participation in community organizations. To date, there are a total of 36 inductees in the independent advisors Hall of Fame.

Romina Wilson
Romina Wilson has been with Shivji Financial Services since 2015 and assumed the role of Vice President in 2024. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Romina is a licensed advisor, working closely with President Hussein Shivji to provide expert guidance and personalized solutions to clients. She collaborates with clients, manages day-to-day operations, and oversees the strategic direction of the business.
With a background in running her own online marketing business and holding various management roles, Romina has developed a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the importance of exceptional client service and effective business operations. Her diverse experience, coupled with her licensing, has equipped her to perform her duties efficiently, reliably, and resourcefully.
At Shivji Financial, Romina is committed to delivering outstanding client care and operational excellence. Faizal Shivji BCOM
Faizal is a licensed advisor who is well positioned to provide clients with a long-term asset protection plan that can be implemented over generations. He prides himself on practising a values-forward way of working with his clients, educating them so they can make optimal decisions in line with their needs and goals.
He specializes in using insurance as a tool to connect families and businesses with tax-efficient asset protection solutions. With a strong analytical background, he can simplify complex situations for clients and find the best solutions. Faizal is living his dream because his career encompasses his two non-negotiables: helping people and working with people. Faizal believes that by delivering both excellent service and education, he can best fulfill his objective to work for 50 years in the financial services industry.
Faizal graduated from Sauder School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is Hussein Shivji’s oldest son.

Zain Shivji HBA
Zain’s biggest passion is people. Having a career that allows him to work with people is something that is very important to him. Zain’s mission is to help people protect what is most important to them: their family and loved ones.
Zain’s goal is to empower his clients to be able to make informed and tailored decisions. As an Independent Financial Advisor at Shivji Financial, Zain takes a wholistic approach of his client’s needs, using insurance as a tool to create, maintain and enhance wealth. He believes the first step in the process is education to ensure the client has a clear understanding of their needs and benefits of insurance.

Business Degree. He is Hussein’s youngest son.

Mila Bayarsaikhan MBA
Mila is dedicated to her role as an Administrative Assistant at Shivji Financial Services, where she plays a key role in supporting the insurance advisors. With a strong passion for financial planning and protection, Mila has seamlessly transitioned from her previous role as a Business and Risk Analyst in the banking and logistics sectors. A graduate with a solid background in financial management from Mongolia, she pursued her MBA in Canada. Mila is committed to helping clients navigate their insurance needs while ensuring the efficiency and success of the team. She enjoys hiking and exploring the great outdoors in her free time.
