Hussein Shivji
President
Hussein Shivji is the president and founder of Shivji Financial Services. Hussein began his career in the financial services sector in 1980 and has since become a prominent name in the field, achieving significant successes both independently and within leading industry companies.
Not only has he served on numerous boards, including the Agent’s Advisory Council of Sun Life Financial, but Hussein has also achieved several years as a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifier, including Court of the Tables Honors – a distinction that denotes exceptional professional knowledge, client service and ethical conduct. In 2005, Hussein was inducted into the prestigious Sun Life Financial Hall of Fame, recognized as one of the outstanding individuals from Sun Life Financial’s 3,700-member team. This is a lifetime achievement award, representing the highest standard of excellence bestowed on individuals who have made a commitment to excellence in service to clients, combined with active participation in community organizations. To date, there are a total of 28 Hall of Fame members.
Well respected by his peers, Hussein received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1997 as a specialist in life insurance, living benefits and estate planning. With 35-plus years of financial planning experience under his belt, Hussein has acquired an acute understanding of the needs of individuals from a multitude of backgrounds and professions. Working primarily with high net worth individuals, young professionals, small business owners and their families, Hussein provides financial security that extends through generations by creating and preserving estates to ensure lasting legacies.
Deeply passionate about charitable causes, Hussein is involved with various charitable organizations, including the Aga Khan Foundation, Covenant House and Face the World Foundation.
Romina Wilson
Vice President
Romina is the Vice President of Shivji Financial Services, and has been with the company since 2015. Romina works closely with clients, helps run operations and overseas the business.
Romina’s background running her own online marketing business and working in numerous management roles has contributed to her strong work ethic, thorough understanding of the importance of excellent client care and understanding of how to operate a business successfully. It has also given her the ability to execute her many roles efficiently, reliably and resourcefully.

Faizal Shivji
Licensed Advisor, BCom
Faizal is a licensed advisor who is well positioned to provide clients with a long-term asset protection plan that can be implemented over generations. He prides himself on practising a values-forward way of working with his clients, educating them so they can make optimal decisions in line with their needs and goals.
He specializes in using insurance as a tool to connect families and businesses with tax-efficient asset protection solutions. With a strong analytical background, he can simplify complex situations for clients and find the best solutions. Faizal is living his dream because his career encompasses his two non-negotiables: helping people and working with people. Faizal believes that by delivering both excellent service and education, he can best fulfill his objective to work for 50 years in the financial services industry.
Faizal graduated from Sauder School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is Hussein Shivji’s oldest son.
